Plot:
Kell is one of the last Antari—magicians with a rare, coveted ability to travel between parallel Londons; Red, Grey, White, and, once upon a time, Black.

Kell was raised in Arnes—Red London—and officially serves the Maresh Empire as an ambassador, traveling between the frequent bloody regime changes in White London and the court of George III in the dullest of Londons, the one without any magic left to see.

Unofficially, Kell is a smuggler, servicing people willing to pay for even the smallest glimpses of a world they'll never see. It's a defiant hobby with dangerous consequences, which Kell is now seeing firsthand.

After an exchange goes awry, Kell escapes to Grey London and runs into Delilah Bard, a cut-purse with lofty aspirations. She first robs him, then saves him from a deadly enemy, and finally forces Kell to spirit her to another world for a proper adventure.


Now perilous magic is afoot, and treachery lurks at every turn. To save all of the worlds, they'll first need to stay alive.


My thoughts:
Well, I have just finished it so I am quite confused. I am always repeating that when you really loved a book it is quite hard to describe what you think and what you felt about it. I decided to read it only because V. Schwab was really chatting in the bookstagram community and every single person who has read her books was like adoring and worshipping her. I had the opportunity to receive the book from the House Publishing so I tried. 

This book talks about Kell who is an Antari, magicians with a rare, coveted ability to travel between parallel Londons. He can travel between the three, not any more four, Londons: Red London, White London and Grey London. 
In the past also had existed another London, the black one. 

Now Kell can not reach it because every single door has been closed and every single objet coming from it has been destroyed. So, how a black stone from Black London is in the Grey One? You can only answer at this question by reading the book!

After 80 pages, I was not sure about the big skills of the author that everyone was talking about but I had to read it for the collaboration. Therefore, I went on and after EACH words, I was every time much more involved and captured. I really love the way the book is so GRIPPING! 

It is so devastating in its plot twists and you cannot really say: "I know what she or he is going to do because I know her/him" because...you do not know nothing Jon Snow. The characters are so intriguing and complicated, which only an expert pen can create. Every single character has his own personality with his own specific characteristics. I love the way V. Schwab describes places and people without being boring.
